Annual membership application

Follow these instructions for your annual membership renewal or if you are joining for the first time or if you want to transfer to Bellville AC from a different club (good decision, by the way).

First time application (new members only)

  1. Register a new profile at https://asa.saclubs.co.za/register.
  2. Complete all the required information accurately as requested on the system. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that the information on ASA is updated and correct.
  3. Ensure that you choose "Bellville Athletic Club - Road" as your preferred club. There is another Bellville club too.
  4. Complete the rest of the steps required for all members.
  5. Join our WhatsApp and Facebook groups to be included in comms.
Make every effort not to forget your username and password as resetting your password on the ASA site is a manual and tedious process. Use a password manager if you feel comfortable with that.

Existing Bellville AC members

Log into https://asa.saclubs.co.za/login and update your details on the ASA website.


If your surname recently changed, e.g. due to marriage, please ensure that your surname on ASA aligns with the surname you will use when entering races.

Complete the rest of the steps required for all members.


Moving to Bellville AC from a different club

Request your current club's licensing officer to release you from your current club on https://asa.saclubs.co.za.

Once you are released from your current club, contact the Bellville AC Licence Officer (Lizaan Mouton) and request that you be assigned to Bellville AC. Clearly state whether you already have an ASA number for the current year or wish to purchase a new number.

Complete the rest of the steps required for all members.


All members

  • Complete the Joining BAK 2025 form.
  • Complete the ASA 2025 form:
    • Download the ASA form from the website by clicking on the green 'Member Form' button.
    • Sign the ASA document. If the ASA form is not signed on a 2025 form, you will not be covered by ASA's insurance.
    • Alternatively you can download and fill in the blank 2025 ASA form.
  • Pay the required amount into the Bellville AC bank account. See banking details below. The membership fee for the first main member of a family for 2025 is R 505. This amount comprises:
    • Club membership fee: R 320
    • ASA licence fee: R 185
  • If you are a student or 70+ of age or want other members of your family to join, please see the comprehensive fee breakdown at the bottom of the page.
  • Attached the proof of payment to the BAK 2025 form.
  • Wait for confirmation that licence numbers are available and note the date and times when collection is possible.
  • Collect your licence number at the Bellville AC clubhouse at the communicated time. This will typically be on a Thursday between 6pm and 7pm at our clubhouse.
Once your membership has been verified and after you have collected your physical licence number from the club, the Licence Officer (Lizaan Mouton) will change your status on the ASA website to accepted.
